Welcome to
Fun With Other People's Words - THE FANFIC EDITION!!!
Exciting! A long time in the making!A billion thanks to all of the authors that let me use their words for this. I was so nervous asking each one of you and you were all so nice and I did many victory dances.
Thank you to:
Warnings: These rate from G to NC-17, and each section will have its own warnings preceding it, along with a link to each fic.
Note: Some of the passages used were edited for length and the bits between spoken dialogue was cut out. In those cases, the full scene is added underneath the picture.
Part 1:
Author's summary: He has - god, his grin is wolfish and wicked and somehow, in the bright darkness of his eyes, sweet.
Author's warning: A sort of jumbled up rerun of season two, so expect spoilers sprinkled liberally throughout, though canon timelines have been bounced around a lot. Warnings-wise, oh hi it's a rerun of season two, so if anything *mildly* squicked you about season two, expect that but harsher. Not written for kids, not expecting kids to read it.
MY WARNING: Bullying
Part 2:
Author's summary: Blaine sends a text message to a wrong number by accident. Things progress from there.
Author's warning: Can contain insane amounts of fluff, sillyness and snark.
Part 3:
Author's summary: On his way home from campus to his apartment on the Upper East Side, Blaine Anderson happens to come across a beautiful young man with bewitching blue eyes. It doesn’t take long, though, for everything Blaine thought was real to fall to pieces. For his world to dissolve into a twisted dance of fear and heat and blood.
Author's warning: Vampire AU with all the unpleasantness that entails. Violence, grotesque descriptions, dark setting, fear, minor past character death.
MY WARNING: Use of FAKE crime scene photos.
Part 4:
Author's summary: Blaine Anderson is the easy going skateboarding slacker who's carried a torch for sheltered class Valedictorian Kurt Hummel for the last year. On the day they graduate from high school, he decides to do something about it. There's no way they should work. Everything will conspire against them. Can this unlikely pairing prevail?
Author's warning: Mentions of attempted suicide.
Note:
There is no mention of attempted suicide in this set.
Part 5:
Author's Summary: Blaine Anderson hasn't been Blaine Anderson for 8 years. He doesn't remember much about his old family and his life before he moved in with the man he calls his father. Together they move from town to town, always drifting before Blaine can get too familiar with his surroundings. Then one day they end up in Lima, Ohio, and Blaine finds himself questioning everything he thought he knew.
AUTHOR'S WARNING: - Child abduction
- Non-con
- Sexual/Physical/Emotional/Child abuse
- Prostitution/Sexual exploitation of a minor
- ...Incest adjacent?
- Drug/Alcohol abuse
- Some language
- Violence
- Suicidal behaviour
- Internalized homophobia
- Bullying
- Inspired by real events
MY WARNING: MENTIONS OF SUICIDAL THOUGHTS.
Part 6:
Author's summary: Fireman AU, set 7 years after graduation. Kurt is Kurt, except that he never met Blaine Anderson. Blaine grew up in Brooklyn with his mother and firefighter father. Rachel and Kurt have graduated NYADA, Kurt gained a Masters from Tisch, and now they're in their first post-college apartment together ready to tackle their dreams. Unfortunately, Rachel never learned how to properly cook and almost sets their new house on fire. Enter Dreamy McFirepants.
Author's warning: None, really, aside from future mentions of homophobic treatment by a parent (I never use slurs. Never.)
Part 7:
Author's summary: In the wake of Kurt’s mistakes, both men struggle to fix their relationship and move past what’s happened. They learn the hard way, though, that forgiveness takes more than forgetting, that trust requires more than just time to rebuild.
Author's warning: I've been told by my ladies that this story is very angsty, but I promise it has a happy ending. It's a bit of a haul, as this story covers a year of their lives.
MY WARNING: This story deals with the subject of infidelity, and though this set of pictures doesn't explicitly come out and talk about it, they do deal with the aftermath of a cheating partner.
Part 8:
Author's summary: Kurt and Blaine have never had sex. They haven't even discussed having sex. Now they're getting married.
Author's warning: This story was a fill on glee-kink-meme. I started writing it on a whim and it turned into a dystopia AU with arranged marriages. However, even if you cringe at the words dystopia, arranged marriages or baby-penguin Kurt, give this story a chance. It’s a tale about best friends, budding love and intimacy, building trust and overcoming obstacles together. There’s no dub-con/non-con and it ends happily.
MY WARNING: Possibly NSFW. A bit of skin is shown, but no bits south of the equator.
Here they are on tumblr.
